Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the web. Here is my story.
J and I met in May 1998. My college friend Mrs P was friends with his friend Mr C and so we all met.
In June 1999 we finished our exams and to celebrate the four of us booked a holiday to Corfu. Whilst on this holiday J and I became a couple. We were 18 years old.
In September 1999 J went away to university. I stayed at home at my parents 100 miles away. I worked to pay to travel the 4.5 hour train ride to see J every other weekend.
By March 2000 we decided that we’d had enough of a long distance relationship and I moved in with J.
In July 2002 we moved back nearer my parents so that I could attend university and this was followed in November 2005 when we bought our first home.
Finally in August 2009, last year, 10 years after we first got together, we were married in a small ceremony at J’s parents village in the south of France.
So what next?!
In March 2010 we decided to start trying to conceive. From the start we knew that it could be a long journey as I had already been diagnosed with PCOS.
In August 2010 following an initial consultation with the fertility specialist and whilst waiting for a number of tests to see what fertility treatment I would require, I received a big surprise, a positive HPT.
Our beautiful daughter, Isabelle Niven Rose, was born at 12 noon on Sunday 1st May 2011 weighing 9lb4oz (4.2kg).
